In addition to our EPC (energy performance certificate) services, we also offer retrofit assessments. A retrofit assessment is a very detailed survey which considers a number of factors for the property. This includes occupancy data, energy use including reviewing energy bills, condition survey and either an energy report or an EPC.

The occupancy and usage helps identify recommendations that are most suitable. For example a lot of electricity use may lead to the suggestion to install solar panels, little electricity use would mean solar panels would be of little benefit.

Retrofit surveys are used by an retrofit coordinator to identify appropriate efficiency measures for the property.

You should expect a retrofit survey to take anything between 2 - 3 hours on site and half a day desktop administrative requirements. Once these are completed, the report is sent to the Coordinator.
